Join BirdNote tomorrow, November 30th!
Illustrator David Sibley and actor H. Jon Benjamin will face off in the bird illustration battle of the century during BirdNote's Year-end Celebration and Auction!
We’re thrilled to unveil the official logo to celebrate 20 Years of BirdNote Storytelling!
This special design by artist and winner of BirdNote's 20th Anniversary Logo Design Contest, Heidi Stavrevski, celebrates two decades of connecting people to the joy and wonder of birds through inspiring, sound-rich stories:
The logo captures the spirit of BirdNote, and features the iconic BirdNote logotype, along with a nod to BirdNote's beginnings in Washington State in 2005, through the Washington State Bird, the American Goldfinch. Each element reflects our mission to bring joy, inspiration, and hope to millions of people around the world who value birds and the environment we share.
For this logo design, Heidi's goal was to signify BirdNote’s vast body of work over the last 20 years and the show’s expansive reach. She decided that a bird’s wingspan would best symbolize these two traits, specifically the American Goldfinch as a nod to BirdNote’s humble beginnings in Washington State. The Goldfinch design also features 20 feathers for additional symbolism.
A special thank you to Heidi for designing this thoughtful logo to help commemorate this special year. We're excited to kick off 20 years of inspiring storytelling!
