Illustrator David Sibley and actor H. Jon Benjamin will face off in the bird illustration battle of the century during BirdNote's Year-end Celebration and Auction!
The Whiskered Treeswift is the smallest of four species of treeswifts. Treeswifts are closely related to swifts, but unlike the latter, treeswifts are able to perch. And that perching makes for the ultimate camouflage of a treeswift's nest. Photographer Con Foley spotted these birds in the Panti Forest north of Singapore, on the Malaysian peninsula.
