Stephen J. Davies grew up in Wales and has lived in England, New York, and San Francisco, and is now the Washington D.C. area. His dad was a biology teacher, and he taught Stephen a lifelong appreciation and respect for all living things. Stephen's a veterinarian with a Ph.D. in parasitology, and for his day job, he conducts research on neglected tropical diseases.
