I live in Hibbing, Minnesota and am a retired school teacher. The advent of the digital age motivated me to become more serious in photography. My project (my wife calls it my obsession!) for the last three years has been to photograph small birds in flight. It has been the most frustrating but the most rewarding thing I’ve done.
My favorite bird would have to be the Black-capped Chickadee. No matter what the weather, they are always there to greet me in the backyard.
