Joseph V Higbee

When I retired in 2002, I set out to fulfill a lifelong desire to wander the wildlife areas, forests, and backroads of the Northwest, taking photographs. Everywhere I went, there were birds, and birds make wonderful subjects to photograph so it was to be expected I would become somewhat of a birder along the way.

Due to the growth of the worldwide web, I have had the added pleasure of sharing many of those photos and experiences with like-minded people, not only in the Northwest, but in places where I never even knew there were places. It's been fun.
