Patty Bruno has always loved taking photos, but got hooked on birds when she was walking at a local lake and saw some American White Pelicans fly in. She was so impressed by their size, grace, and beauty. That was six years ago, and now she loves nothing more than going out into nature and photographing birds. She even got her husband of 30 years, Al, hooked on birds too. On rainy days, when she is not out birding, Patty enjoys baking, reading, and surfing the internet. She lives and works in San Jose, California with her husband Al and their very friendly Golden Retriever, Sconey.
