Illustrator David Sibley and actor H. Jon Benjamin will face off in the bird illustration battle of the century during BirdNote's Year-end Celebration and Auction!

Marcus Rosten is a naturalist, environmental educator, and conservationist based in Buffalo, New York. He is the Director of the Western New York Wildway at the Western New York Land Conservancy, where he works to protect and reconnect forests and other critical habitats across the region. Marcus holds a degree in Environmental Education and Interpretation from the State University of New York College of Environmental Science and Forestry and has worked as an interpretive park ranger, wildlife technician, and environmental educator at the local, state, and federal levels. An avid birder and believer in making birding more accessible and diverse, he serves as a co-organizer of Black Birders Week and is President of Birds on the Niagara, which hosts an annual binational winter birding festival along the Niagara River IBA. He joined the BirdNote board because he believes that the path to conservation begins with curiosity: by helping people understand and love birds, we can inspire them to care for the places and ecosystems they depend on.
