Julianne currently serves as Information Technology Director for Cascade Public Media in Seattle -- home of PBS affiliate, KCTS 9, and online news site, Crosscut.com. She serves on the board of Audubon Alaska. Previously, she served on the PBS Digital Advisory Council and on the board of PCC Community Markets, where she held several leadership positions including board chair.
Passionate about spending time outside and in the natural world, Julianne’s been interested in birds since she was a child, when she cared for a juvenile Tree Swallow for three weeks and then released it into the wild.
Julianne received her MBA from the University of Washington and bachelor’s degrees in communications and business administration from Washington State University, where she graduated with honors.
