Joshua Clark writes of himself:
I am a self-taught nature and wildlife photographer, residing in Northeast Ohio and specializing in avian photography.
I got my start in photography back in 2005. It all started with a point-and-shoot camera that I had purchased for some out-of-state job training. I used this camera at a local park where I spent my time after work. When I got back home, I found myself purchasing my first digital DSLR. As I started out, I concentrated mainly on the parks in my own back yard, but soon expanded my travels to various regions of Ohio and out of state. My mild start has now developed into a true passion and obsession. When out in the field, I attempt to portray a story with my photography, capturing the pure essence of the moment. That is what I find most rewarding -- when I am able to capture that special and unique moment in time and share it with others.
I am a Group Coordinator for MPEG (Midwest Photographers Enthusiasts Group) based out of Brunswick, Ohio, for which I create group shoots for MPEG members. I have given several photography talks for local photography groups and as well as parks, such as North Chagrin Reservation during their Nature Photography Weekend.
