Georgia Sparling is a writer and podcaster from Mississippi. From kayaking to biking to hiking, she enjoys exploring the varied landscapes around her home. But during the pandemic, she began to pay more attention to the (very loud) birds around her home. With the doors and windows open as much as possible, she began to observe and learn the daily habits of the bluebirds, bluejays, mockingbirds, and other winged fowl of the Gulf Coast. When it's too hot outside, you'll find Georgia reading, making pottery, or baking bread (sourdough, of course).
