George Vlahakis lives in Yakima where he practices medicine and has been doing serious bird photography for the past 8 years. He has watched birds most of his life, started digiscoping, and moved on from there. While most of his photography has been in the Northwest, in recent years he has been traveling more to shoot in more exotic locales. His favorite birds to photograph are owls, warblers, and anything in the tropics.
