Frank Balthis is a natural history and travel photographer living in Bonny Doon near Santa Cruz, California. The Monterey Bay area is a wonderful location for year-round bird photography.
Frank has had photos published in Audubon, National Wildlife, National Geographic, Sierra, Sunset, Via and other publications. He also publishes an extensive line of nature postcards for the region from California to Alaska. Frank believes that photography plays a very important role in increasing appreciation for bio-diversity and habitat protection.
