My name is Dan Ripplinger, a.k.a. DansPhotoArt on Flickr, and I am a retired civil servant. I have enjoyed photography since high school. In the last two years, I have been fascinated with hummingbird photography. In the summer, I spend a few hours each day on the patio, photographing these tiny birds. They never cease to entertain me with their antics.
