Brendan McGarry is a environmental writer and photographer based in Seattle, Washington. Passionate about nature since childhood and gripped by an early obsession for birds, he is a lifelong birder and naturalist. Never one to ignore broader themes, he wants to tells stories with environmental themes that engender appreciation of the natural world. A graduate of the Evergreen State College, Brendan has traveled for and worked with birds as far away as Australia and Borneo, but he's deeply passionate about his Pacific Northwest.
