I'm a freelance photographer living in Northern Illinois. Many of the photographs in my galleries were taken in the America's heartland. The Midwest may not have the grand vistas of the mountain states or the quiet, understated beauty of the southern states, but I've grown fond of the farmlands, prairies, northern forests, lakes, and streams here. They have a charm about them that's not always obvious. It seems there's always something interesting around to photograph, no matter where you live.
My photography background includes both formal education and continuing self-study. I received my Nature Photography Certification from the Morton Arboretum in Lisle, Illinois and have a certificate in commercial and portrait photography from the School of Modern Photography in NYC. Client and publication credits include McGraw-Hill, University of California Press, Barrington-Courier Review, Chicago Tribune, Daily Herald, YMCA, Campagnolo, Morton Arboretum, PawsRusK9s, Stillman Nature Center, and Blue Ridge Country Magazine. My work has been exhibited locally at the Barrington Art Council and currently at the DuPage Art League in Wheaton, Illinois.
