I was born, brought up, live, and work in Fife, Scotland. I have spent my adult life working in Health Care. (I’m a Primary Care Physician.)
I have been interested in birding and wildlife since my childhood and developed an interest in bird/wildlife photography following the introduction of digital SLR cameras.
Over the last few years, I have developed an interest in the birds and wildlife of sub-Saharan Africa, and I hope to travel in that beautiful continent more widely in the future.
I'm not the most photogenic of guys and I always seem to get wet and filthy out in the field so I have chosen an appropriate image! (This photo was taken in the Gambia.)
