I became seriously interested in photography when I moved into my new home on the Niagara River almost 15 years ago. Every winter there is an abundance of wildlife right in my backyard, particularly waterfowl and song birds. I soon realized that if I wanted to capture close-up photos, I would need something more than my Sony with a 5x lens. It wasn't long before I purchased a Canon DSLR and zoom lens. My main interest is photographing birds, flowers and macro.
